North West Bay Golf Club in Tasmania
North West Bay Golf Club ia a par-72, 18-hole 6,120-metre course for members and the public. The golf course overlooks the picturesque North West Bay in southern Tasmania. The club is near margate, a 20-minute drive south of Hobart.

The golf course is mostly over the side of a hill, somewhat exposed to the wind and with many holes traversing the slope. The result is that, even after finding the fairway, the golfer often has to contend with side-hill lies. The walk is to the lowest point of the layout and back to the clubhouse on the top of the rise, twice – for each nine holes. Playing here regularly will keep you fit and will test and improve your play.
There are limited clubhouse facilities. The annual membership subs are $676 from July to June. There is no joining fee and no waiting list.
The members at North West Bay Golf Club are friendly and laid-back. As befits Tasmania in general, there is a commitment to stress-reduction!
